Hi, I'm Megan.
I am a recent grad from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Media Studies at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I've spent almost 5 years working in the theme park industry in Orlando, FL, but I have finally made my way back home to Massachusetts, and I hope to transition into the sports industry in the greatest sports region in the world.
Content creation and media production have always been a passion of mine. As a kid, I was constantly directing, editing, and, of course, starring in all sorts of creative home videos. I did everything, from recreating iconic things from pop culture (our version of the Old Spice commercial starring my 10-year-old brother's best friend in front of a backdrop in our bathroom is a crowd favorite) to parodying music videos and original game show ideas.
In college, I channeled some of that creativity into writing. I wrote pieces for Society19, The Odyssey Online, and Emerson College's online entertainment magazine, Emertainment Monthly. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I started my own sports-focused blog, Girl Out Of Boston, and was able to write a piece for a female-run baseball website, Ballpark Vibes.
I was raised by a sports family in New England during the reign of Tom Brady and David Ortiz, so naturally, I found myself growing up to be a massive sports fan. My love of sports and enjoyment of content creation has led me to pursue a career in sports media. I hope to one day turn my passion for sports media into a career and join the ranks of these inspiring women who are trailblazers in the world of sports.
Welcome to my corner of the internet!
